Figūras is an experimental music project by creator and first artist-run gallery founder in Latvia – Kaspars Groševs.
As his ouvre is diverse, music and sound is only one facet of it all. The project Figūras exists since 2006, and as the artist himself describes: it's experimenting with loops and textures that saturate the creation process. Figures never repeat yet in live improvisation they always return to the long forgotten. There's no beginning or end, only the excitement of a moment. Currently Figūras is one half of the NSJT record label and podcast series.
