Yann Tiersen

Starting piano at four and forming his first band at thirteen, he immersed himself in the punk rock scene, playing guitar and synth. After four years in a punk band, he ventured into a solo career armed with a synth, sampler, and drum machine. This phase led him to explore sampling, incorporating toy and acoustic instruments, and crafting his signature motoric acoustic miniatures.
